2008 Borgata Winter Poker Open Begins

Sixteen events are on tap for the 2008 Borgata Winter Poker Open, which began recently with a $300 buy in event. The No Limit Texas Holdem event is the first leading up to the $10,000 buy in No Limit Holdem main event, which will begin at the end of January. The World Poker Tour is famous for making poker millionaires, each main event typically awarding a first place prize of a million dollars or more. Last year this same event was won by Johnny "World" Hennigan, who played the antagonist in the recent poker movie "Lucky You".
