Dealer Poker a Profitable Game

Playing with other people's money can be a nerve wracking experience as any poker dealer can tell you, and for them, the game of poker isn't a game at all, but a very serious job, and one that is pretty lucrative. The Sandia Resort & Casino, for example, employs nearly sixty poker dealers, who receive $50,000 to $60,000 a year. Most of that money comes from tips, however, as Sandia pays dealers $6.21 an hour. Sandia poker room's day shift supervisor Julie Stump said the casino has plans for expanding their poker offerings, which means more jobs for dealers.
