The Kahnawake Gaming Commission was conducting an investigation into the cheating scandal surrounding online poker room Absolute Poker, in which an employee participated and won an online poker event on the site where he could see all of his opponents' cards. The results of their investigation were announced on January 11th and while they did hold AP blameless as far as knowledge and complicity in the cheating are concerned, they did hold them to their failure to report to the KGC within 24 hours of the incident, and fined them a half million dollars.
