Online Poker Room Offers Cheap Shots

Year Two of the British Poker Open is gearing up, and online poker players have a cheap shot at winning a seat through two dollar qualifiers. Online poker site Poker Heaven has events that offer a $7,000 prize package which includes the cost of the buy in and travel expenses. The British Poker Open was founded last year and saw big shots Dave “Devilfish” Ulliot, Chris “Jesus” Ferguson, Howard Lederer and Greg “Fossilman” Raymer all take part. Last year the winner was American qualifier Adam Djumovic, who scored GBP 100,000 for his accomplishment.Each round of play is being filmed for display on the Poker Channel, Sky Channel 265, and will showcase the best of the table action at this No Limit Texas Hold'em freezeout competition.
