Star Pays Own Way to Aussie Millions

There is something to be said about star power. In the world of poker being a celebrity might get you an invitation to a closed event, for example, or you might find the tab picked up when traveling to tourney out of the country, as long as you mention how much you like the casino. That was the chance offered to movie star turned poker pro Shannon Elizabeth recently when she arrived at the Aussie Millions poker event. She had a chance to have a free ride if she would promote the tournament. Elizabeth turned them down, preferring to pay her own way into the event.
