London Jury Decides Poker's Fate

Is poker a game of luck, or a game of skill? While the answer to that argument often depends on who is answering - the winner or loser - it has real implications in today's legal world, and a jury has been asked to answer that very question. Snaresbrook Crown Court in East London are deciding if Derek Kelly broke the law by hosting a poker game at the Gutshot private members' club. If they say no, then it is because poker is a game of skill, and is thus exempted from the gambling laws that brought Kelly into court in the first place.
