The poker tournament hosted in the Bahamas and named after an American was won by a Canadian student recently. With $30,000 in student loans and defending a master's thesis on his mind, Quillan Nagel managed to pull out a win at the Moneymaker Millionaire tourney, taking home a $1 million prize. 800,000 players tried to get a seat at the show, but only 27 players made it to the Moneymaker Millionaire. Nagel was the one to outlast all the rest, winning with a heads up all in call holding King high that held up to the river.
