WSOP Winner Signs with Royalty

The winner of the 2008 World Series of Poker main event has recently signed with a poker personality agency, the Poker Royalty that also represents most of the major online poker players and live pros. Peter Eastgate, the 22 year old from Denmark is the youngest poker player to ever win the WSOP main event in Las Vegas, beating the old, long standing record of Phil Hellmuth, also a member of Poker Royalty. Peter Eastgate, 22 year old poker player from Denmark has become the latest World Series of Poker champion, winning more than $9 million and beating former record holder Phil Hellmuth to become the youngest player ever to win the main event. WSOP Final Table Down to Two

It was months in the making, but finally the November Nine sat down to finish what they started, playing the final table of the 2008 World Series of Poker main event. There was one more break in play, however, as the first seven players were eliminated and it got down to the final two. Dennis Phillips was the last American in the game, going out in third place, leaving a Russian and a Danish player to fight out the victory on the next day. Read More
