22-year-old chemical engineering student Jonathan Rice understands why poker is a popular game, especially with the big time TV tables and huge payouts. Rice isn't a world class player yet, but he may get a shot at the same perks, having spent $80 and come away with a prize package worth $12,000. Rice played online at PokerStars and picked up a free trip to Paradise Island to play in the 2007 PokerStars Caribbean Adventure. The Cumberland, MD man will join plenty of others in the Bahamas for a chance to make the final table, where six players will compete for huge prizes and poker stardom.
