Poker Brawler Brought Down by Police

The Foxwoods Resort Casino is the home for many great poker games, where players routinely "get busted", are "wiped out" and have "bad beats", but some players took the violent terms a bit too literally recently when a brawl broke out. A New York City man was recently arrested in connection with the altercation. Thirty one year old Bryant Downs of Queens, N.Y, started off arguing with another man and wound up giving him a bad beat. Allegedly the victim was struck several times and thrown to the floor, and was later taken to hospital in an ambulance. Downs has been charged with assault and had bond set at $5,000.
