World Poker Open Has Begun

Held at the Gold Strike Hotel and Casino, which is found in Tunica, the World Poker Open is part of the sixth season of the World Poker Tour, and is a poker tournament that introduced the pocket card camera to US audiences and has produced dozens of millionaires via their poker contests. The World Poker Open kicked off in 2003 when David "Devilfish" Ulliott won, and the next year it was Barry Greenstein. This year the winner will join the ranks of WPT millionaires and get a seat into the season finale. The WPO started on January 5th and will run through January 20th.
