2008 Canadian Open Poker Championships

The 2008 Canadian Open Poker Championships are scheduled to play in March of this year, according to a recent press release by HeadsUp Entertainment, the company that is putting on the poker event. The first event will be a charity event with five percent of the prize pool going to Breast Cancer Research, with a $500 buy in. The second event jumps to a $5000 buy in and is a heads up match with a max of 128 players. The third event will be a short handed game with a $1,500 buy in, and the fourth a $1,000 freezout.
