New Year is a holiday celebrated around the world, and for good reason. As the symbol of a fresh start, New Year is a time of hope and excitement, and, despite some reverses in US poker law over 2006, online poker might have as much reason to celebrate the coming of the New Year as anything else. While a large percentage of online poker sites have suffered due to a loss of US players, many have excelled by picking up the slack. Even some of those rooms who took an initial hit to revenue are recovering, signaling good tidings for 2007. However some sites like CompatiblePoker.com are warning all online poker players to think twice before they deposit money to play in an online poker room. According to the site, there will be offered many unreliable options to process payments, especially if Neteller becomes unavailable to US players, but those new options may be illegal.
