One thing is certain after watching the Rich Ferguson DVD “Offcial Poker Card Stunts”; Mr. Ferguson has way too much time on his hand and maybe someone should do him a favor and introduce him to a nice young lady. This guy apparently spends way too many evenings alone, shuffling his cards. Of course if you have the much free time to yourself to do nothing but find alternate uses for a proper deck of fifty-two cards, you are of course going to be very good at what you do. On this score, Rich is a smashing success. He can do things with a deck of playing cards that most of us would need a green screen to replicate.
Rich Ferguson is an accomplished magician and performer. For those who want to use their game night to not only take some cash off of their best friends, but also as a means to satisfy their innate need to perform, this DVD will teach you some things that will impress and amaze those who can tear themselves away from their hole cards long enough to watch you .
From this DVD you will learn a number of really fancy flourishes, a few ways to throw cards (not quite in the manner of Jesus Ferguson, but close), as well as how to flip a card and make it do things that most of us have only seen at a “Blue Angels” stunt show. These are just some of things that this DVD will teach you.
Like anything else in life, knowing how to do these things and actually being able to do them are two different things. Even so, the learning curve wasn’t that sharp, and after watching this I was able to do a few impressive tricks in rather short order. In other words, the DVD did exactly what it was intended to do. That makes it a success in my book
