It is unlikely that any entity could put Mike Sexton and Paris Hilton together in any sort of meaningful way. On the surface, Mike should be an ideal companion for the virtuous Ms. Hilton; he is rich, married, and has the word “sex” worked right into his name. Of course he is totally old, and probably only utters the phrase “that’s hot” if he eats a toasted marshmallow before the requisite cooling off period. He also doesn’t seem like the type that thinks a web cam needs to be part of conjugal activities, and he parts his hair on the side in a very uncool fashion. Chances are he and Paris are on different planets when it comes to a relationship. This hasn’t stopped PartyPoker from trying to put them in the same room.
Party Poker seems very interested in putting Paris and Mike together. In 2006, after Hilton lost her Bentley playing poker, the online gaming giant offered her the chance to win it back. She would have to step up and play some hands of poker against the Party Poker spokesman, Mike Sexton. Paris never seemed to register that the offer had been made. Party Poker has once again made the offer after her new Bentley convertible was defaced while she was in a Hollywood home playing some hold’em. Apparently a detractor had decided to express their opinion of Ms. Hilton by chucking eggs at her car. While no suspect has been identified, her father’s whereabouts for the time of the incident has not been confirmed, and he was reportedly enjoying a three egg omelet later in the evening.
Party Poker has re-issued their offer of playing Mike, heads up, for a Bentley. This will presumably lessen the sting of having to remove egg from her car, instead of her face, where it more frequently is found. Whether she addresses this offer or not is still unknown, but I know a bunch of folks who would not only jump at this opportunity, but would happily play Mike for a Yugo, or some other roller skate car with good millage and a rubber band engine.
