The pressure could not have been higher at the 2009 World Series of Poker main event final table, where only two players were left. Russian pro Ivan Demidov and Dutch pro Peter Eastgate, both very young, both with a raft of supporters on the rails, and both hungry for the $9 million first place prize, although the second place $5.8 million was not a small consolation prize.
In this hand Ivan raise it up to $2 million in tourney chips pre flop with:
a very good hand heads up. Peter called with:

The Flop came down:
and now it looked like Peter made a very good call, sitting now on a flush draw and bottom pair. He checked his action, as did Ivan.
The Turn was:
and now Peter had his flush. He bet out $2.5 million. Ivan, suddenly feeling like he needed to prove something, raised it to $8 million, which Peter called. There was now $20 million in the pot.
The River was the:
nothing to Ivan. Peter, sensing Ivan was playing loose and aggressive, decided to let him take the lead, and so he checked. Sure enough Ivan bet $12 million, which Peter called. Eastgate scooped the $44 million pot and pulled way ahead of his opponent.
