Sometimes the winner of a big poker game seems to be a foregone conclusion. Many times a player who is outmatched can get lucky and come from behind to win, but other times it seems certain that he player with the best skill, the best cards and the best luck will win.
That was the case at the final table of the World Poker Tour Championship for Season Seven, played at the Bellagio, and here is how it happened. Two players remained, Yevgeniy Timenshenko and amateur Ran Azor.
Ran raised it to $750k in tourney chips holding:

moved all in.
In the prior hand Yev had come over the top of a raise all in and Ran folded away. This time Ran could not help himself and made the call. He was in for his tourney life, so if he lost this hand he was out.
The Flop hit:

and just like Ran was now out ahead.
The Turn came:

and now the ace was eliminated as a help for Yev. The only way Yev could win now was a ten on the river.
The River hit:

and just like that, as Mike Sexton put it, Yev caught Lightning on the River and took home the championship.
