At the final table Stu Ungar was sitting with: While his opponent, John Strzemp, had Very similar hands Ungar raised to $40,000. Strzemp called. There was no reason to reraise. So the flop came: Now both players had an overpair. Strzemp bet $120,000 Stu Ungar thought then that Strzemp could win only with better kicker. But it was very unlikely: Strzemp didnt raise at preflop. So Stu moved all-in. Strzemp called. When the turn came bringing 3d it was clear that Stu had only 7 outs to win against 20 for split pot 7 outs and luck. But this was enough: So Stu won $1,000,000 and his third WSOP title with 5-high straight (A through 5).
