The finalists of the WSOP 1986 Championship event had almost equal hands. Berry Johnston looked at while Jesse Alto was holding Johnston, who had a big chip lead, raised $20,000 preflop and Alto reraised 100,000. Berry went all-in and Alto called. Unfortunately, there are no records left concerning the board cards. We only know that the board did not help either of the players. Berry Johnston won $570,000 with high card that year.
