There is one well-known saying about Sailor Roberts: Sailor was a great player. He was very generous with his money, too. Gave away most of it before he died. These are Amarillos words. But the year of 1975 wasnt the year when Roberts was generous. He came to the WSOP to get the title and $210,000. We dont know the board cards. We know only what both finalists had. Sailor Roberts had: And Bob Hooks had: We know that both player went all in preflop. We can only guess why the Big Slick didnt help Hooks, because the board cards are unknown.
