During season six of the World Poker Tour there were many memorable games. One such game, taking place outside the US at the Aviation Club in Paris (the home of WPT favorite Isabelle Mercier) was the Grand Prix de Paris, where the four remaining Scandinavian players were all showing they had the heart to play the game - and the guts as well.
Christian Grundtvig, from Denmark, continued to play his game of non-playing, waiting for just the right cards. Jani Sointula, from Finland, opted out of this hand to nurse the wound his pal Thomas Wahlroos, also from Finland, had given him by bluffing him off the best hand and a big pot.
Henrik Witt, from Denmark, however, wanted to play. He limped in with:
... from the small blind, and Thomas, with no pressure in the big blind, checked with:
... to see the flop.
The flop came down as:

... and Witt was first to act. Henrik bet 35,000 in tourney euros, and Thomas called, looking for the turn.
The turn hit:
... and Henrik bet 70,000 Euros. Thomas, perhaps still high from his earlier aggressive tactics against Jani, raised it up to 135,000 euros. Henrik, however, was not to be out done. He did not believe his opponent, and moved all in with 912,000 euros, by far the biggest push of the night.
Thomas was undone and folded quietly out of the way.
