Mike Sexton knows a thing or two about a thing or two, as the saying goes. A pro poker player for many years, and the commentator on the World Poker Tour, his insight is valuable to the home viewer as they try to figure out how well the pros are playing. In this particular case, the pros were playing very well indeed.
It was the final table, and the final two players, of the Grand Prix de Paris, part of the World Poker Tour's Season Six, being played out at the Aviation Club. The two players left, a Finnish pro and a former stamp collector from Denmark, were Jani Sointula and Christian Grundtvig.
In this particular hand the action got started by Christian - or rather, the inaction. He had a pair of ladies, wired queens, and elected to limp in holding his:

... checked his option from the big blind, and it was on to the flop.
The flop came down:

... and Jani checked. Here Christian bet out 180k in tourney chips and plaques. The long haired Finn took a moment, and then folded. Mike Sexton had this to say: "This is why I believe Jani is paying very close attention. This is the first time in heads up play that Christian has not raised on the button."
Jani had watched his opponent, and when he did something that was not according to his betting pattern, he got suspicious, and correctly followed his instincts.
