Poker After Dark - The Last Couples Hand

There were no more couples left, and it was the end of one of the more interesting theme weeks of the hit NBC show, Poker After Dark - Couples Week. At the start of the week Marco Traniello, David Benyamine, and Phil Laak were there, along with their girlfeinds, fiancees and wives: Jennifer Harman, Erica Shoenberg and Jennifer Tilly, respectively.

Now it was down to just two men, Marco Traniello and David Benyamine, to fight for the win. As strong and talented as Marco was, David was catching all the cards. In this hand would Marco be able to double up, or will David's luck win the day?

... and did make the baby ace call. All the money was in the middle of the table and it was up to the dealer, now. The flop hit:

... and so far so good. True, David had a gut shot straight draw, but that meant he had to hit one of four cards, and there were only two cards to come. Marco was in good shape for that double up. Then the turn hit:

... Just like that the luck of the Frenchman won out. The blank river was:

... but no one was watching - the players were up and shaking hands, the match over.
