In a previous hand during the Mega Match week of Poker After Dark Phil Ivey was teasing his buddy Barry Greenstein after he busted him out. "You will never win one of these things," he had said with a grin, "Until you learn to win with the worst hand." Ivey had gotten lucky on Barry two hands in a row to bust him out. Now Ivey was fighting for his tournament life against massive chip leader Allen Cunningham. In this hand Allen looked at: ... and made an all in move pre flop. With the blinds escalating he wanted to keep the pressure up as much as possible, to keep grabbing the blinds and adding to his chip stack. Ivey, however, had him beat with: ... and made the call. "I'm Oh, Three and One," said Ivey, referring to the number of Wins, Losses, and Ties he had during the game with all in pots against Allen. "I'd like to make it One, Three and One." The flop came down: ... and put Phil way behind. Phil needed this win to stay in the game, or he would follow the path of Barry, Jen Harman and David Benyamine. The turn came: ... and the river: ... Phil Ivey was out just like that, with no chance at picking up the $300k winner take all prize generated at this game. "You're Oh, Four and One now" chimed in Allen, rubbing a bit of salt in the open wound.
