Poker After Dark - Quack Quack for the Win

It was Heckler's Week, the week during NBC's Poker After Dark (now in its 3rd season) that would bring six of the biggest trouble makers in pro poker to the table. Sam Grizzle, Phil Hellmuth, Shawn Sheikhan, Jean-Robert Bellande, Mike Matusow and Gavin Smith all paid $20,000 for the privilege of playing a six handed no limit Texas Holdem poker game, and only one would walk away with the prize of $120,000.

In this particular hand they all decided to play friendly poker, likely to test each other and see how the field was playing. And, just maybe, to be friendly.

Grizzle called the $200 big blind with:

... followed by Shawn with:

... Phil, from the little blind, called with:

... and it was Gavin's turn. Shawn said, "Friendly poker, boys and girls", so Gavin thumped the table with his hand, indicating a check, and said, "Alright, if it's friendly, I'll play friendly." Of course, he wasn't likely to raise with his hand, anyway.

  The flop came down:

... and Phil was under the gun. He checked it to Smith, who checked it to Grizzle, who checked it to Shawn. Shawn couldn't take all the weak action at the table, and so bet $700 in cash. Phil folded, Smith called, Sam folded, and it was time for the turn. The turn came:

... and both players checked, as they did when the river came:

... Phil, had he stayed in, would have scored a straight, but as it was the pot was won by Gavin with a pair of ducks.
