The blinds had just gone up to $800 and $1,600 during Cowboy Week on season three of Poker After Dark, and only four players remained. Hoyt Corkins and Doyle Brunson, the only true cowboys at the table, where gone, leaving Andy Bloch, Chau Giang, Gabe Kaplan, and Chris Ferguson to play for the $120k prize.
In this hand Chau, the short stack with less than seven big blinds remaining, figured he had to make a move. Chris led out with:
