The hit NBC poker show Poker After Dark brings six poker pros together and each contributes $20,000 into the pot. It is a winner take all format, so the winner takes home $120,000 - usually.
In this particular week, called Jam-Up Week, Barry Greenstein, Howard Lederer, David Williams, Antonio Esfandiari, Eli Elezra, and Mike Matusow lived up to their highly aggressive reputations.
In the very first hand the game started off with Howard found pocket rockets and made a raise to $600. When he looked down and saw:
... he knew he had to play it correctly in order to get paid. Barry was next and holding:
... he raised it to $2,400. Eli was the last one to take action in this hand and when he looked down and found:
... he moved all in to the tune of $20,000.
Howard, naturally, made the call and Barry folded out of the way. The cards were turned to face up and it was all up to the community cards.
The flop came:

... and Eli found a little hope. The turn came:
... but the river ended it with:
... Eli got up and began to shake hands when Mike lived up to his nickname of "The Mouth" and suggested that Eli be allowed to buy back in - something that has never been done before at a Poker After Dark event.
Eli pulled another $20,000 out of his pocket, bought another rack of chips, and sat down to continue playing, making the community pot now $140,000.
