Daniel Negreanu is known to be perhaps the best poker spy on the planet. He can put people on a hand so accurately that one would think that he is either psychic or has managed to sneak a mirror behind an opponent. Of course a poker player who may be better at reading the competition is somebody whose life depends on their ability to decipher subtle, almost intangible cues from a stony faced foe. So maybe a holdem opponent even the pros may want to stay away from, are cops.
On PokerStars.net Million Dollar Challenge, poker pro Daniel Negreanu failed to protect his bosses money from a New York cop that even 9/11 couldn’t take down. Mike Kosowski is a retired New York Police Department Detective, turned poker player, who won the big, million dollar prize on the popular fox show. He was forced to retire after he sustained injuries during the 9/11 attack on New York by fanatical Muslim terrorists. Despite an online poker ban in the US, he started playing holdem online at PokerStars. Eventually he qualified for the Million Dollar challenge.
His road to a million dollars started when he first beat Joanna Krupa, but we will forgive him for that. He then had to take on poker pro, Daniel Negreanu. His time as a detective made him an excellent poker spy, and he often seemed to be able to see Negreanu’s hand. Eventually this hero beat Daniel and won the life changing money. What chance did Negreanu really have? If an online poker ban and a bunch brain damaged Muslims who think they will get endless nookie in the afterlife for killing innocent people couldn’t stop him, what chance did Daniel stand?
