Anybody who has ever read Maxim or FHM magazine has probably encountered Leeann Tweeden more than a few times. Actually it is quite likely that anyone who has seen her pictorial in either of these publications will have the image of the sexy brunette dancing around in their head in a manner not unlike Christmas sugarplums in noggins of children the night before Santa commits his own special brand of breaking and entering (what the hell is a sugarplum). In short, Leeann is stunning and is one of the few poker hostesses who been able to make fans forget Shana Hiatt. If it were just about looks though, she would have gone the way of Sabina Gadecki and Layla Kayleigh. Leeann is successful because she is also entertaining, and incredibly bright.
Leeann knew early on what she wanted to do in life, and college had very little to do with it. Once she graduated from college she pursued a career in modeling. Anybody who knows anything about this particular aspiration knows that trying to make a living as a model is not for the faint of heart; it is competitive to the point where your best friend in the industry would smother you in your sleep if they thought it could give them an edge. Not only did Leeann manage to navigate these waters successfully, but she parlayed her success as a model into a number of television gigs.
Her interest in sports combined with her other talents have gotten her a correspondent position with Fox Sports Net’s Best Damn Sports Show. She spent seven years trading banter with the guys on this program before becoming the face of Poker After Dark. In between her television and modeling commitments she manages to tour war zones and helps keep the morale of soldiers in positive territory. For this many of us give her our most heartfelt thanks.
