Championship Satellite Strategy by Tom McEvoy and Brad Daugherty

  Many players dont understand proper satellite strategy. They play the SOP method of satellite strategy, by the Seat of their Pants, notice Tom McEvoy and Brad Daugherty in their second co-authored book Championship Satellite Strategy: How to Turn a Toothpick into a Lumberyard.  So they try to improve the situation and make the professional satellite poker strategy available for everybody.  Both McEvoy and Daugherty are the WSOP winners. They have a great experience in playing different kinds of satellites. It will take a lifetime to learn everything they know on your own. The book contains detailed strategies for most satellite structures and situations. Both a beginner and an experienced players will find this book interesting and useful.  Winning a satellite allows you to play in a big tournament for less money. So the catchy subtitle How to Turn a Toothpick into a Lumberyard is not just a figure of speech. The 2003 WSOP winner Chris Moneymaker entered WSOP after winning an online satellite. He invested $39 and turned it into $2,5 million. By the way, Moneymaker speaks highly of the book: McEvoy and Daugherty show you how to win satellites online and on-land in language that everybody can understand, he says.  Of course the language the language of these two authors must be mentioned. They can speak simply of the most complicated things. The famous writer Kurt Vonnegut once wrote that a scientist is worth nothing if he cant explain his theory to a five-years-old child. These guys can, so we can call them real poker scientists.
